Afternoon Matinee

Slept pretty well, woke up to the sound of the rain hammering on the windows!

Lazed a while, came downstairs, had my porridge & a brew, then back up for my shower. Jeans hoodie & boots…… and a cagoule when I went out to the car, for my daily coffee.

Sat chilling for half an hour, then downloaded the Macdonalds app so I could pre order lunch for Middle son, 3 eldest granddaughters & S, daughter’s partner. Daughter & I are both trying our hardest to be good, to shed the post Christmas pounds!! Parsnip soup for us ;-)

We all played Trivial Pursuit after lunch, followed by a film, the latest Ghostbusters movie…….as you can see we were all engrossed lol! It was really good, quite funny, think we all enjoyed it!

Middle sons ex picked up their 2 girls, so son could visit one of his friends and stay overnight with his sister. I said my goodbyes around 6.30pm and left them to it.

Made a quick SWorld chicken curry and rice for tea, put the Masked Singer on tv to see what all the fuss is about……. mmm really?!!!

Not really watched anything properly tonight, been a bit distracted, dont know why….. might get into my pjs in a mo and watch another episode of The Tourist before bed.

I am meeting a friend for coffee tomorrow which will pass the time……weekends can be a bit lonely, but this one wont be too bad.
