Lethal beauty

A brilliantly sunny day today so went for a long walk to meet a friend and catch up a bit. We had a good chat over a cup of tea and then a short stroll to admire the light bouncing off the snow. We enjoyed hearing laughter as children slid down the nearby hill. We were more circumspect, taking each step with care on the icy paths.
