Ex Police station in Hampton

L3 Day 21 - Today after a bit of research I went to find the 3 police stations, all in Station Road. The first from 1830 was in the house that is now No 46 which was not purpose built,it still has the stable in the front garden to house the police horse and fodder. The blip is of the second at 12 Station Road from 1846 which was purpose built and had 6 Constables living there in 1896. This building has subsequently been used as a laundry and other commercial uses but is now a private house. The extra shows how it looked in about 1900. The third police station at No68 was built in 1905. Later in 1935 this was extended and included a garage and parking area for police vehicles. In 1968 it was closed and used as a police office for a while. It looks very neglected as it has been empty since 2014.
