Stable relationships
First bad night in terms of sleeping, since hub came home from hospital. We were late to bed, then couldnt get off to sleep....obviously we did eventually, but it lead to a late morning!
Breakfast in bed at nearly 10am.....cornflakes, toast and jam & a strawberry yogurt for hub, fruit & yogurt for me.
Hub admitted to stressing about our Wills, which obviously contributed to his lack of sleep. We chatted things through & agreed to address his concerns, via one of youngest son's contacts in the business, so the wheels are in motion, but hub won't be at ease until all the i's are dotted and the t's crossed :-/ He is just worried about me.:-/
It was almost 1pm by the time we were up, showered and downstairs...a very late brunch, hub fancied a full english. After a quick nip out to the local shop for bacon and a paper, I soon had a plate of bacon, sausage, egg, beans and toast in front of hub, which he cleared in no time :-) Hes also had another two slice of banana bread too.
I realised this morning when I went to the shop that our Christmas wreath was still hooked on the wall beside the front door, oops!
Its now in a bag, with all themother things, in the study, until I can find someone to help me get the loft ladder down ;-)
Todays blip is a long range shot of the stables on the farm which is on our top road....the horse looks as though its being treated by the stablehand.. but what do I know?!! Still snow on the ground although not so much now.
Ive made a couple of apple and blackberry crumbles this afternoon, in between speaking to youngest son, then daughter, making us a coffee, having five minutes to read the Sunday magazine, whilst hub read his paper. We have watched footy on and off, started to watch the Spurs v Marine match but its not great, think it was 2-0 when we turned it over :-(
Hubs been passing some time reviewing our finances today too......anything that occupies his mind is good.
Got some fillet steak for dinner this evening, not sure what with just yet....see what we fancy a bit later......
Dont think we will be late to bed tonight, already feeling a bit tired.....and thats just me!
Need to pack a bag in the morming to put in the boot pre our appointment tomorrow, just in case ;-) Hubs idea not mine, but if its what he wants, then Im happy to do it.
Daughter has asked me to add a few words from her, following your comments on my recent photo of her and her dad.....
" Thank you everyone for supporting my wonderful mum in this awful time. Thank you for all your kind words, I Iove that you can see the love between us just in a photo. Photography is an amazing thing and I've always always been the one taking pictures any time I can (much to my daughters dismay). They make wonderful memories and we've loads more to make. Stay safe. Hugs and Love Karen xx"
Another new week, stay safe everyone
