Morning is Broken

I made an essential journey today to the supermarket. The picture is taken at 10:40 this morning, but it hardly looks like it. Still quite dark due to the heavy layer of cloud and rain hanging overhead.

The supermarket was not busy this morning, maybe people are still working through their Christmas and New Year stocks. I couldn't help noticing as I entered the shop that not all take advantage of the trolley and hand sanitisers provided at the entrance.

A rather moody picture of a supermarket car park today. The area in front was parent and child parking, but is now part of the expanded click and collect area. So far I am still shopping in person, though I have cut back to once per week instead of a couple of smaller trips. Not ideal for all fresh products.
