A Norwegian Influence

This gate is just downhill from me, I pass it several times a week either on my way down into town or as I drag the hound homewards (it is a long and steep hill, perfect for sledging - although I don't think the people who live on the road share that idea seeing as the hill then becomes very slick and almost impassible)

The German for welcome is 'Wilkommen'and so this sign piqued my interest and I love the naughty angle it hangs at.

We've had snow on and off all day although at least it's now above freezing - there's even a promise of sun by the end of the week, but I wont hold my breath!
