Cool, Clear Water....

We had a glorious early morning walk. The initial slight chill in the air dispersed as the sun rose. Maisie, hot and thirsty after chasing rabbits, found this pretty spot with cool water to quench her thirst. I’ve been busy all day gardening, trips to town, sorting camping gear etc. This evening I made a second Christmas cake (a rich fruit cake) to take camping and set it to bake slowly over several hours. Hopefully it will taste yummy!
