Light and Shade....

This is the view of the countryside looking south towards the distant Wither Hills. The viewpoint is 30 seconds from the beginning/end of Taylor River Reserve section of our walk. We step off the walkway path into Purkiss Street and suburbia where there are nice homes and gardens. From there we are less than 10 minutes walk from home.
It was over 30C in the shade of our porch today. Too hot for me.
Margaret and Granddaughter Emily are staying overnight prior to driving to Kaiteriteri tomorrow.
