Texture

Just my usual view over Gill Beck Valley, opening out into Airedale beyond and with the bump of Rawdon Billing on the skyline. The low sun was nicely bringing out the texture in the gritstone.

It's been a fine day all day and I got out for an hour over lunchtime; a walk along the top of Moorside and then back through the pastures below. The ground is sodden again.

There wasn't a lot of wildlife on show, but just as I was turning back up the hill for home a Red Kite glided down the valley.
