During the pandemic my Mom used her creative spirit for the good. She painted rocks featuring happy sayings or sweet pictures. The rocks were placed along garden beds, walking paths or in parking lots - the idea was for people to see them and take them. The idea spread like wildfire and soon all the kids in her neighborhood would reference “the rock fairy” still unaware it was her! They’d draw their own rocks and she’d find them in various places along their street. It was a positive, creative way to spend the summer. Eventually the neighborhood kids discovered her secret identity and she has become a popular lady because of it.

I snagged this rock from her stash as it speaks to me personally. I work for a chiropractor so the pun is relatable. But more than that, my Mom DOES have my back. Always. She is my best friend and my number one fan.
