Desperate measures...

.......when the only thing you can think of blipping in the house is a new gadget.  An extension hose for my cylinder vacuum cleaner that means I can clean the stairs without having to carry it up with me.
Didn't even see the delivery man because he rang the bell and scuttled back to his van.
Collection of our green bins has been suspended from tomorrow as two bin men have caught Covid and died.  Makes you realise the risks these workers take, assuming that is how they contracted the virus.
Had a text from my neighbours who were due to arrive home last Saturday from Brazil where they have been visiting family.  Their flight was cancelled and they are now hoping to return on 31st January (if they are allowed).
