Going nowhere

A slightly challenging morning today. Trying to get Xander motivated for homeschooling. He was really quite distressed about it all. So last night I had printed of 90 of the most common nouns. I laid a few out word face down and got him to choose 6 of them . He had to read them and then write them out. He then did some school work on his tablet. Later on I set words all the way upstairs to the landing and put a tiny treat on each word . If he got it correct he got the treat.

Lincoln has had a better day and joined in with a little something. It was a colouring activity in the shape of a rocket and each shape was a certain colour. He's good with shapes but doesn't care much about letter or number recognition. Harp on the other hand. Every time I go to give a Wildling a warning and start counting from one , she keeps on counting and doesn't give two hoots.

The Jedi didn't nap all day today. I tried him three times. He should of been tired with how long he was up throughout the night.

I took some timeout earlier and finished my dog's. That's it completed. It was difficult but a enjoyable learning experience. I have a few commission's to do and someone messaged me earlier wanting to buy a dandelion. Before I start my next comission I am going to try something for me.

I'm also going to give Xander a day off from work tomorrow. I'm sure his teacher will be fine with that. I believe mental health is so important
