New shoes, but not any old new shoes!

During the original lockdown Carys was killing ballet shoes at a scary rate. She was bought a couple of pairs by Gary Avis and then for her birthday he bought five more pairs.

Well this lockdown she had started killing shoes again. This afternoon a parcel arrived for her from Gary with another couple of pairs of shoes. Such a lovely thoughtful man. I can't tell you what a boost Carys got from it, it's not just the shoes, but the fact that someone so far above her in the ballet world thought about her.
