Symbol of Rome.

I like the lion. He’s on a Roman themed finger post opposite the play park. The lion was a symbol of strength, sovereignty, justice and military might of the Roman Empire. Not far from here is the Antonine wall, the northernmost boundary of the Roman Empire.

A bit of snow this morning. We went where we knew it’d be slushy only.
