19 - past, present and future

Quiet birthday for Sam in lockdown. Prezzies from us, from his Grandma and Granda, revisiting the big screen Star Wars IV with the four of us in the living room in the evening (following the mammoth LotR's extended edition viewing over the weekend) chocolate cake and a chinese take away, not all in that order.

Just like everyone else, Sam's life has been on hold for a year as a result of the virus, but i do feel for the teenagers of the world the most, they've missed out on a year of mischief and relationship making and building.

In other news, i've unexpectedly made contact with newly found family in Canada and sourced a picture of my mum's Grandmother. Mum is in a bit of shock about putting a face to a name for the first time but we're looking forward to finding out more.
