Icy spiky
Having both suffered slip injuries in the past we are much more cautious of walking out in icy conditions , this picture is one of my beloved readjusting the Clip on spikes he has for his boots . What was a muddy route yesterday became , with a touch of frost , a crispy , crunchy route - my favourite sort .
We have spent the rest of the day looking for papers , sorting through papers , discarding papers and so on .
We find it hard to get rid of paperwork , just in case .
Many years ago we had a huge phone bill which was an error and we were only able to resolve the matter because we had so many years worth of bills . I suppose all that information is online now but there is always the thought of “what if I throw it away and then I need it!”
The council pest control department will b3 rung on Monday as there is more mess , though no noise so hopefully mice rather than something bigger .
The boiler is still broken , the lovely plumber has it on his list but is a busy guy and our usual plumber is ill with COVID . When we spoke he said he was feeling a bit rough but not too bad . So hopefully will make a full recovery.
Happy weekend to you all xx
