He only went and did it

Mr Mouse successfully did DIY.

We have a kitchen tap that isn't dripping and isn't broken.

I may have explained how to close off the water and that he needed to drain the system and he may have needed help with one bolt but he did the rest all by himself (well little mouse was on hand with his tools).

And the tumble drier is *touches all the wood* fixed. Yet another part was required. First load went in and it initially still came out wet. But I tried again and so far it seems to be doing what it should.

We are now waiting for the results of Mr Mouses uncles covid test. Or at least we think he was having the test today. The care company have reported that one of his carers has tested positive and so the manager was going round to administer the test. I guess they have a supply for those in their care. To be honest we are actually more surprised that it hadn't happened sooner. They aren't great at wearing their masks. So we are in limbo but he has no choice but to go at the weekend no matter what the result as he has to get the shopping in. We can't guarantee the delivery will arrive when the carers are there. And Mr Mouse does all the stuff the care company obviously can't do like check mail and financial stuff.

It's all so worrying and frustrating.
