Redwing reward

The day started cold and frozen but against all forecasts turned brighter and I went for my walk at 12:30

After almost completing my curcuit I saw that the fog was rolling up the valley from the West so I tried to get an angle for a record of the event.

I didn't get  exactly what I was after  but I have added it as an Extra photo.  As I gave up and headed towards home I heard a call and saw a distant  Redwing through my binoculars and then to my left there was another and I gor my reward.

It was a one photo success even though it was taken through wire fencing.

The fog filled the valley and sloshed about for hours and then disappeared at teatime.
