Day 299 It's Flower Friday!

This week I've photographed again some of the tulips that were in the bunch of flowers bought for me last week.  Like a lot of us here, I hang on to tulips as long as possible as they do photograph so beautifully in all their stages and in some ways I think that they look even better when reaching the end of their life.
In other news: Mr MC had yet another Covid-19 test at our local hospital in readiness for his procedure on Monday.  He gets tested weekly at work now and was negative on Monday evening, so hopefully he'll be fine.  Unfortunately it does mean that as a household, we have to self isolate from the time of the test until he goes to the hospital on Monday morning.  They've asked him to be there by 7am, which is a positive really.
My extra is of one of the several ring necked parakeets that deigned to visit our garden this morning, even coming to the set of feeders closest to the house.  Things must be bad elsewhere, as over the past year or so, they chosen to give us a miss, choosing to fly noisily overhead to gardens that they presumably consider to be  better in some way!
