HELLEBORE

It's time I went and did some tidying up in the garden. The hellebores are hiding underneath some of the dead leaves and stems I've left from autumn, and the bulbs are all bursting through. However, despite the wintry weather and yesterday's hard frost I still have a defiant foxglove with an open flower and buds, several more clematis flowers opening among the rosehips, and I found some hardy little greenfly sitting on some iris leaves that are poking through. It's a garden for all seasons at the moment.

Still waiting to hear how my sister got on having a plate inserted in her wrist today, and when she can go home. We heard last night that Mum has her first vaccination next Thursday. Good news!
