Caught W’s shadow in the first sunbeam that streamed through the window this morning.

Thanks for the good wishes yesterday! Essays were completed and this morning D. passed his permit test - hooray!!

W. and I walked all the way to Starbucks this afternoon to pick up some coffee (well, really for the fresh air and exercise) - about 7 and a half miles all told. Sore feet (need better sneakers) and an early night, but it was a really good outing.
