Vineyard Variations

Today we woke up to clearing skies and finally a return of sunlight. Yesterday I had only managed a short run in the pouring rain as our one permitted form of exercise (it was cold and wet but somehow refreshing at the same time) but today it had to be a walk to get some fresh air and feel sunshine on our faces again. The light was just glorious.
I set off with my brother just after 9 am and we walked through our village and up towards the North Downs. The main image was taken about halfway through our walk and is a view of the expansive vineyard which now covers a large stretch of the lower slopes of the North Downs between our village and the neighbouring village of Eccles.
My secondary image is the side of a horse box parked next to a hedgerow after we had left the path alongside the vineyard. I must admit I thought it was the White Horse of Kent but only noticed is was actually a unicorn when I edited the image!
