The start of more flooding

On the news today, a comment of the presenter was ‘this week will be filled with news of flooding’. More rain is on it’s way.

Today was beautiful sunshine and I went out plogging. A Swedish word for picking up litter whilst jogging. I was inspired by my sister who taught me the word and the concept.

On the way back I popped into the local store and was excited to find condensed milk in a squeezy bottle! Anyone had that issue of getting condensed milk out of a tin, or an open tin being invaded by ants? Problem solved :)

I did a few more YWAs and Open Learn courses (there is so much on there!) and saw a link to the newest Attenborough called A Perfect planet. And as luck would have it, one of the episodes was on BBC 1 tonight-Weather. It had many scenes from southern Africa which felt like being home. Highly recommended series.

Before that, I watched Dancing on the Ice which was fun, I laughed so much and found myself on the edge of the couch the whole way through.
