Spring

I saw these pretty flowers on the way out for a walk yesterday. 

I had to get up at 6am today or thereabouts, just like every workday this week as I had a Zoom recruitment day for a counselling placement. I didn't really want to do it, because I've been so tired and it's the last thing you'd want to do at the weekend. But actually it was very worthwhile, and dare I say it, and enjoyable experience.

At 6am, there was a layer of snow on the ground, but by lunchtime it had all gone and the sun came out. I did my chores around the breaks that we had, as I knew I didn't want to do them tomorrow on my only day off. It was a long day- 9:30 until 3:30 with various groups, skills practices and group activities. I met some nice people, all a lot older than me bar one man, and it was just a nice experience. I did feel I had a lot to do, but hopefully I might get an interview and hopefully a placement too! I'll hear by Wednesday, so fingers crossed. 

Early night tonight a a lie-in for me tomorrow.
