Unloaded the ponies at Emill and discovered that I was missing a little something ..... see extra photo . Saddle was still at home - good grief woman !!! To be honest there isn’t a huge amount to my saddle, I adore my total contact saddle which is a minimalist thing, but it does have stirrups which are wonderful when a gun goes off and your pony shoots off and you’re riding bareback . The cantering was fine but OMG the fast trotting was a killer and my thighs will never be the same . After a further episode of the same i had to get off and walk it out- think it was quite a relief for Daisy as well as me! Least I didn’t fall off .
