New Lauren

Snuck out of my office at lunchtime to meet my pal New Lauren for a quick drink. She's known as "New Lauren" because I already had a friend called Lauren when I met her. (The first Lauren is known as Lauren 1, by the way, as "Old Lauren" sounded unkind.)

Being responsible types, we had coffee and green tea from a nice café, but we could just as easily have popped into the bar next door. Mondays seem to demand alcohol sometimes!!

We had a nice chat, and made plans for lunch next week, probably on my birthday.
