Tea On The Riviera

Today, CallieJDH and I tried to take a walk in various different beauty spots around Devon. We ended up marching along Sidmouth seafront. The bitterly cold wind soon drove us inside, and as The Esplanade has such beautiful old hotels along the front, we trudged in with our walking boots and asked to take afternoon tea in the finest of them all. A nice gentleman showed us to a window seat, and brought us Earl Grey tea and scones with jam and cream.

I prefer scones to walking. Especially when the view looks like this!
