That time of year again

Did anyone hear the loud group walking down Granton Road around 5:30-6:00am this morning? Alot of shouting and screaming again. May have been the same group from Thursday night. Mainly girls but I did hear a male voice this time.
That’s the sort of thing you wake up to when you have a neighbourhood WhatsApp with fifty or so people on it. Although we live in a lovely community, there are amongst us people with the fear. High fences and CCTV. Out there be’s monsters.
And later, begob, I was doing a bit of a winter tidy up when two foxes made their way through the garden below me and one continued into the wild patch two along. Much screeching and howling followed. A neighbourhood cat had been chanced upon. I wonder if rewilding is such a great idea.
Later, I bought one of these Sky Sports day passes to view the top of the table clash between unexpectedly high flying Man U and Liverpool. And yes, I can fairly pick ‘em. Nil-nil, obvs.
