History books
Just when you think there is nothing to blip a friend turns up and asks for help sorting out paperwork! I am in my element when dealing with anything like this although I want to read and absorb all the information before it's filed in our local library for safe keeping. These are the records of my local WI and the page depicts a meeting held on 24 March 1966. In some ways it's a different world with talk of Pounds, shillings and pence currency, a talk on plastics in the home and no-one appearing to have a first name as everyone is referred to in terms of 'Mrs A Smith'. In other respects it hasn't changed at all with outings and parties and oh so much to do.
I'm going to enjoy today's challenge!
