Day 301 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic.  First UK Vaccine 43 days ago. UK in full lockdown.

A short drive to Hereford to do a foodshop and we had a walk around the almost deserted town. So sad. We spoke to the woman running the butchers stall who explained their takings are down 75% (their cafe is closed) and they can't claim for loss of earnings as they're open and the 'grants' have to be paid back anyway! Big changes to society over the coming years. Not good.

I've heard a wisper things are to get worse with a hardened lockdown and all flights to UK cancelled until end of April. My Iceland trip with mates arranged for March now cancelled for a third time until february 2022!

Storm Christoph due to hit UK for next couple of days.
