Grass Island

In Cook Park, which is more or less in the centre of Orange, one of the features that really fired me up was this (and there was another one) island planted completely with tall, elegant native grasses. You could sit quietly on the wooden bench and just watch them swaying in the breeze, and meanwhile the water birds could shelter amongst them. Bliss!
