The rush to school

Along with the rush to seek gold in the 1800s went the need for villages and schools. This school is in Lucknow, not far from Orange and from the earliest gold site at Ophir. The extra tells the detail of the school's changes over the past 140 odd years, and leaves us to imagine what it was like in the horse and buggy era. Pretty hard all round, I'ld say.
