Transfer

Working today in thoracics theatre only we finished about 1:30 after 2 big cases, so made my way over to acutes to see what was going on. That seemed under control so went to lend a hand to ITU. They had a transfer that had just been arranged, so made sense for me to do that and leave the ITU docs on the wards where they knew the patients. Took the usual amount of prep time to get patient ready for transfer and then we hot footed it across the city to LGI. Been a while since done a transfer, but all good. Got back and then checked everywhere was good before coming back home. Everyone was all snuggled up in the lounge so we decided to have a movie night and watched Mulan. Really enjoyed it, well produced and great family entertainment.
