Looking out of the window

Looking through the rain splattered window of the breakfast room into the garden.  When we renovated the house we opened up the wall between the kitchen and an old sitting room to make a big kitchen/dining area.  In the summer we eat out on the table, currently wrapped in a tarpaulin, on the patio in the shade of my favourite tree.  I'm now in the middle of making marmalade and a fruit cake in the kitchen reflected in the window.  The house smells scrumptious!
