Rooftop
Watched the roofers across the street this morning. One standing on the horizontal boards the other balanced on the roof ridge. The former repeatedly tossing a stack of roof tiles up to his fellow roofer. Extra shows the catcher higher up the roof ridge. All with the wind blowing.
Let Murray out at 1.25pm before my online reading session with my Reason student. He came charging indoors leaving a trail of blood on the kitchen floor. Stopped him 'decorating' the carpet and cleaned his left back foot with warm salty water and dressed it.
By 6pm his dressing was blood-soaked. Do bathed the wound just under one of his foot pads, packed a dressing, covered with another, secured with micropore tape and put tubigrip around. He's a menace with licking dressings so kept a watch. If bleeding continues tomorrow it may be a vet visit. We've both got poorly left feet. :-(
Yesterday had an email from ghastly Mr Binns from the council regarding a zoom meeting about their 'wonderful' -not - plans for building on the rec. Woke at 4am with random angry conversations running through my mind. Took ages to resume sleep. Made a decision to step back from further campaigns, scrutiny of council plans and details regarding building on the rec. No more mental broadband left if want to remain sane in these times.
Stay safe everyone.
