Now for a rant!! 

Duvets. An essential part of most households today. Gone are the days of the lovely wool blankets and eiderdowns of my childhood . We are now far more sophisticated and continental with a plethora of options to choose from when it comes to Duvets.  The inner part is just fine but the covers, I HATE THEM!  Duvet covers are in my opinion gods revenge on the housewife/househusband . No matter how may ideas I have researched/watched the fact remains that they are the most frustrating thing to use in the world. Trying to get the duvet into its cover usually reduces me to a hot and bothered beetroot! There is so much material in the king size duvet covers, and being short I find my whole body being consumed by the cover!! And then when you have wrestled the damn thing into the cover you are then left with the annoying variety fo fastenings. Buttons, fiddly and they drop off, poppers that loose their pop, and zippers that catch any surrounding material and jam!!  Aghhhh! As you might have guessed it was bed changing day today!
