Barley Stacks.

When we were last in Australia we stopped at the Barley Stacks Winery near Maitland on the Yorke Peninsula . After a very enjoyable tasting session and a couple of purchases we asked if we could purchase two of the tasting glasses. We explained that we were travelling around and were self catering quite a bit and had as yet not managed to get wine glasses. Very kindly the proprietor gave us two glasses. Over the next 6 weeks we very much enjoyed drinking many of the wonderful wines Australia has to offer out of the Barley Stacks glasses. When it was time to go home we donated the catering items we had accumulated to a goodwill shop but decided to take the wine glasses home. Amazingly they survived unscathed and we still after 6 years enjoy using them! Every time we drink out of them we are transported back to sunny Oz!
