Rays of light / Lichtstrahlen

Today feels brighter in several ways.

Strange how a transfer of political power some 8,000km away has made things feel lighter and more hopeful here.

I suppose Hartmut Kirbach, the electrician whose shop I cycle past on the way back from work, will be used to brightening things up - this afternoon helped by a vivid blast of winter sunlight.
