Rise n Shine

The sunrise view this morning was only available to those who were up and out. It was absolutely beautiful and filled the sky with color... but only for 3 1/2 minutes. The colors came on quick and were so bright. As fast as it had come on, it passed just as quickly. It was talked about throughout the day by those who witnessed it and by those who missed it.

Despite the gorgeous start to the day, it’s been a tough one for my girl. She had oral surgery to extract 4 wisdom teeth. What a tough cookie though. She’s eaten soft foods throughout the day, drank plenty of fluids and hasn’t really complained about pain (even though I know she’s feeling it). Showered and off to bed, I hope she sleeps well and continues to recover and heal tomorrow.
