And not just the builders - the floods are too (see extra).

It's hard to believe sometimes that we've been in the house just on a year now and it's still not finished.  

I hope I don't have to wait that long for my second Covid jab.  The system clearly is in trouble; yesterday 17 people failed to turn up for their appointments at the health centre.  It appears that this is quite common and the poor staff are having to phone round trying to get people to take up the spare vaccine.  Which probably explains why I got one at such short notice.
