Books 3 & 4 of 2021

Finished the marvellous Pachinko by Min Jin Lee.  About a Korean family who are migrants to Japan, the story begins early in the 20th century and takes us on their journey of almost 100 years.   It was on Barak Obama's recommended reading list!  I've started Carol by Patricia Highsmith.  It was published originally in 1952 under the title "The Price of Salt" using the pseudonym Claire Morgan.    Patricia Highsmith was born 100 years ago this week!

My hairdryer's on the blink so a bit of research to identify a new one asap.  The research then extended to roasting tins - the current sad incumbent of decades needs replaced.  Oh what an exciting life I have!
