My Life With Luna

By chrisA

I noticed the buds on the Hawthorn are opening, they get the sunshine (when it shines) so think this is quite early for them.
The newly opened leaves are also called 'bread and cheese' as country folk used to nibble on them, and labourers used to add them to their packed lunches to liven up the filling and they are also a source of Vitamin C.   (They don't taste like bread and cheese to me!!).
