The little Wren was fluttering amongst the tubs on the patio this morning and I was just able to get one capture, through the patio door, before she disappeared into some ground cover plants.    I thought at first it was a mouse but a closer look confirmed it was a Wren.
Steven, Alfie and Charlie came to visit this morning and whilst Steven went off to do other chores, Alfie cleared out the workshop attached to the garage.   It had become a dumping ground for all and sundry bits and pieces and he wants to use the area for maintaining his Moto X and mountain bikes, it will be good to see it in use, and he did me a favour by  sorting it out.    Whilst he was busy Charlie and Luna had great fun playing in the garden.

Can I just say that the 'bread and cheese' I referred to in yesterdays Hawthorn buds image, is as far as I know,  just the new buds.   I don't know whether the leaves as they mature would be edible/palatable.
