Wombat Warning

The final touch of paint was applied to the veggie enclosure today and the last job was to fix the wombat warning sign to the gate.  I’m not sure how true it is that there are wombats for the next 5km but it sounds good!!

It’s been a true summer day today and not a day to spend too long in the garden.  We made sure our tasks were well and truly out of the way before lunchtime.  A revamp of the small kitchen garden was undertaken by ME and it looked amazing by the time she had finished.  I finished off the painting of the new gate supports and a few other little bits and pieces.  We’ve been eating veggies and salad greens consistently for a few months now and have learnt a great deal.  The tomatoes are all ripening up and I’m busily researching tomato relish recipes :)
