A day in the life

I spotted these from the bedroom window this morning. I used to have more varieties but the heavy soil in my garden kills things during a cold wet winter. Lots of bulbs coming up in pots though; my main strategy for ensuring spring colour.
A few interesting things have arrived in the post today. Currently enjoying Love is The King. Jeff Tweedy’s latest cd. It’s lovely even on first listen.
In other music news last night we enjoyed a live gig care of the Green Note in Camden. They are doing them every Wednesday and Friday. Unticketed with donations, we will be back for more. Kris Drever, Emily Barker and Sam Brookes (new to me) were excellent and the format is lovely. I can recommend a look, it’s there for another 7 days.
