You lookin’ at me?

I went down to the dam just after sunrise, I’m determined to spot that kingfisher, it was cold and grey. I saw the heron, but not my halcyon bird.

I went home for a quick piece of toast and then met Pat to walk down the loop line to Monton. We bumped into Ellen and had a good chat. Back along the canal and then through the woods. It snowed really heavily and it was beautiful, but is has almost gone now.

I did a little bit of shopping then went back down to the dam with Pat and this time we bumped into Amina. Still no kingfisher! It’s a good job one of my favourite birds is the heron as he was there again.

I’ve done over 22000 steps today....#achinglegs.
