Travelling in style

A surprising amount of snow fell through the night making driving quite treacherous this morning so Olivia was escorted to an early morning Birthday party at The Children's Museum by sledge! Underneath her snowwear she was wearing her beautiful sparkly party dress, sparkly tights and I was instructed to carry her party shoes in my bag! The little madam certainly arrived in style!

As Dex was at his swimming lesson with Daddy it meant that I didn't manage to get out for my long run (2hrs 40 mins) until late this afternoon. It took a lot of will power and bloody mindeness to motivate myself to run as the snow didn't stop all day and it was freezing (obviously!). However, I really enjoyed the run - runners are a strange breed!
