The moon with a bird flying beneath and North Berwick Law and the Lammermuir hills in the far distance.  In the opposite direction the landscape towards the sun was a picture of sparkling whites and silvers interspersed with trees under an almost cloudless blue sky.  Today’s walk was the reverse of yesterday’s with it all being done on “black roads” apart from two kilometres beside fields and through a wood.
