Brisk

After the school run this morning I went for a brisk buggy walk with two friends and our little ones who are still too young for preschool. It was good to be out in the fresh air and the views from the route we took up to where the road meets the fell are vast.
I had to run some errands in Hexham later and countered the benefit of the walk somewhat by raiding Gregg's Bakery and consuming a cheese pasty, some brownies and half a packet of orange Club biscuits on the way home. Oops.
This afternoon our Mummy and Baby group of friends met up here. It was fab to catch up with everyone. Only one couldn't make it - the Mum in the centre of this photo - as her littlest one is poorly. We were planning another trip this summer out to the WigWam Farm that one of the mums owns and runs. Yay!!! This year there will be the six of us and our SEVENTEEN kids. Yikes!
