Beautiful Day

After dropping Grace at school and Ophelia at preschool, Hubby and I took Arwen for a short buggy walk around the block, which turned into a much longer one as it was such a beautiful day. Seeing the blue skies, feeling warm sun on our faces and hearing the lapwings' cries in the fields as they return to nest here in the moorland - it was all very springlike. After school, the kids all piled into the bigger village park for a run about and played human skittles on the giant slide, then they came home and spent a good half hour in the neighbours' garden bouncing like crazy on the trampoline. Needless to say it didn't take them long to drop off to sleep tonight.
